hello! its raining now and since i cannot go out to have my dinner because i dont want to get wet o.O i shall blog about yesterday's concert!

JUXTAPOSE II (:

(anqi's first concert. HAHA. gay)

okay, so one bright and sunny morning we went to tm to meet the longbaos. ( ah, supposed to meet in the morning, but i think we all reached at 12. o.O only an qi was early. HAHA ) so off we go on our gay mission to buy random presents for section, friends, random band people. ling mei and I saw christine at the bus interchange. and hoho, christine realised that she gayly lost her shoebag. ( left it on the bus ) so we waited at the interchange for i dunno how many minutes for her bus to turn back. ( heng she took 291? if not we need to go to bedok already. HAHA. ) anyway, she got her shoebag back and we went to find an qi, who was standing emo-ly at the mrt station waiting for us. o.O then the other baos reached and we happily went for lunch at long johns. then we went ntuc to buy our presents and mrted back to mjc band rm. hoho. ( and and and! i was gayly blowing............................ the balloons for the long baos on my way back )

then we had rehearsals ( quite screwed o.O hahaha. so i am not going to mention anything here) and off we go for dinner! yay!

woah, then after dinner was a mad rush to change, find our sexyyyyyy gold ties ( the tubas took them ) and to past the random juxtapose tickets to friends and juniors! ( see, should have a counter. o.O ) and soooooooooooon it was concert! (: ah, exciting.

ah, cannot really remember what happened throughout the concert. but my high high A note was seriously out of tune like nobody's business. o.O and i got the DENG from - lol. oh oh, and stupid SCOTT got stuck at the last few songs. OMG. heng ah,last few songs alrdy. christine and i also staggered like mad after 2nd half. HAHA. =x and my reed officially died after the concert. sheesh. o.O

okayyy, so after concert we moved a few chairs and started to camwhore in the band room! YEAH! But before that, here's the oboe section photos!!!

Gay conversation

Well, it seems that this blog will be left alone for a week I guess. Anyway, 3 of the double reeders were engaged in a conversation with 3 other band mates in mjcsb. With 6 people in a conversation, the likeliness of having a gay conversation is naturally high.

Well, we were talking about a band outing before the tune in, so erm there were some drawings drawn by 2 of the many big artists alive, Si Ying and me [Christine]


Well, this is a compilation, because too many takes up space. [left click to enlarge]

Let me tell you briefly how those 4 drawings came about.

The first one: we were talking about back up plans for the outing, then if got lightning then got hip hairstyle and stuff.... And thus I drew this.

The second one: we were talking about politics [ya, real politics] then An Qi missed choy, and Si Ying screamed,"Don't look into her eyes! [Medusa joke]"*okay, it's a long story. Maybe ask someone else to explain next time* And thus I drew this.

The third: Ling Mei asked, what's Medusa? And Si Ying drew a gay looking Medusa that SMILES. WOW. I pointed that out and thus the birth of the forth one.

My condolences

As you can read from the previous gay [it's gay because even the writer tot it's gay] post, Scott's good friend, XXX [the reed], just died. We are not sure of the cause yet, but our preliminary guess it's natural death. We are still investigating this case. You know, when something comes of age, it will just die off.

May you rest in peace, reed.

Goodbye, our comrade who fought selflessly for the bassoon section during combined, you did us proud, you died a glorious death while playing the scales. SALUTE.

Okay, I lost focus, this post was supposedly to be focusing on the 2 bassoonists! Not the REED! Okay, come back come back.

one fine day at combine (okay, not very fine because my ass and hands were hurting due to the fall yesterday while rollar blading with the longbaos) i was happily playing scales on scott whennnnnn the reed started going crazy. anddd eventually it stopped producing any sound. HAHA. gay. i thought it was scott being gay at first, but i later realised my reed just passed away. awww.

Okay, Anqi gave me some inspiration to blog. Maybe she knows I will be lonely for the next 2 days since all my dear friends [almost all] are OGLs..

Well, in case you stalkers are pondering why my name exists in both sections, it's because I pro. wakaka. No la, it's because I play both instruments that's why my name in both sections goondoo. I am not sure of the actual reason oso so don't ask me.

Anyway, a random conversation that happened less than an hour ago.
*Okay I dun have the exact words, but the rough idea is like this...*

Anqi: Can I put your name at the OBoe there as Ex-Oboist?
Me: Cannot!
Anqi: Don't so agitated lah, asking ur permission only..
Me: Okay i change i change
Anqi: Oh ya, add the juniors names hor.
Me: Okay I do the changing....
Anqi: Good wat, play 2 instruments.
Me: 3! [includes Cor Anglais] Yay, den next time can be double reeds tutor.
Anqi: You?? Gay lah.
Me: "what instrument do you teach?"
"Oh! Any double reed instrument I also can."
Anqi: GAY. You blog about this la. Something like you thinking about your future job and stuff..

Well, I do think of that kind of scenario at times [most of the times], but it's just an imagination lah. This kind of imagination only works for people who have nothing better to do. If I can teach people how to play instrument, maybe pigs should try flying. Okay, I don't know what to blog. So goodbye and goodnight.

It's just another random day at home, because Christine is tired after a badminton match. Started to read her own blog, trying to delete offensive stuffs from her blog and found this photo taken during some soccer match.

Have not been updating for weeks already, due to busy schedules and stuff. The OP is coming, the double reeds would like to wish everyone good luck!

Here are some tips, which might not be helpful.
#1. Speak properly.
#2. Think carefully
#3. Act like a kuai kia.

Played incatation and dance today, basically it was a roller coaster ride. Anyway, as Christine said on the tagboard, after the peeps left the burger king [if u dunno what this place is, no worries, I HAVE A PHOTO.], Christine had a nice nice adventure which only Si Ying got to see.



Well, the story goes like this.

One day, Christine was too worried about her OP because she recieved a ME for her overall presentation, thus she was too busy memorizing lines. And thus almost left something that costed around 2000 dollars at that place over 2.5 pieces of paper that costed around 0.5cents. Horrible.

While walking towards the bus stop, Christine saw someone with a laptop and almost screamed. And ran back to the Burger King at god-dang-speed, even faster than running her 2.4 km. Si Ying literally gave up halfway while running. Sad ah. Iron lady leh. Lucky the laptop was taken by the manager, otherwise Christine could have committed suicide or something.

Anyway, the oboists would like to apologize to cuckoo for causing a mini hoo haa at BK, to further show you our sincerity, I think that An Qi should write a blog post of some apology letter to Charmaine. Mastermind should take up more responsibilities! [yay, can see An Qi blog liao!]
